Full-service interior design includes:

• Consultation: We define project scope, set budget expectations, and review architectural plans.

• Contracting: We assemble a team of trusted architects, builders, and tradespeople, and navigate the bidding process.

• Design: We handle every detail, including hard finishes, fixtures, custom millwork, furniture, and one-of-a-kind pieces.

• Logistics: We take care of buying, shipping, and coordination to keep things on track.

We operate as an advocate and strategic partner to our clients throughout each project, ensuring alignment, with approved scope, timeline, and budget.

Our Design Advisory service is a structured, client-led process that includes in-depth design concepts and guidance. It’s best for clients who want expert design guidance, but have the time and resources to execute the project on their own.

• What’s included: We help you develop layouts, design concepts, and supporting documentation. To keep Design Advisory projects running smoothly, we stick to widely-available finishes and furnishings.

• What’s not included: You’ll handle day-to-day coordination, purchasing, and vendor management.

• Best for: Partial home renovations, styling support, or select commercial projects.

Design Advisory engagements are offered on a case-by-case basis. This service is intended for projects with a defined scope, rather than a full-home design or isolated single-item selections.

For clients that have a strong design concept, but aren’t sure how to make it a reality, our Design Review service helps provide clarity and a way to move forward. We provide a second set of eyes to support decision-making and apply professional experience where it matters most.

• What’s included: You’ll get a three-hour working session where we discuss your goals, evaluate inspiration imagery, compare layout options, and select finishes and colors. We can also answer questions about contractor scopes, timelines, and estimated costs.

• What’s not included: Design review does not include ongoing design support or coordination.

• Best for: Developing new or early-stage design ideas.

Design Reviews are offered on-site for a flat, per-session fee. Virtual Design Reviews are offered on a selective basis.

We offer virtual 1:1 design sessions via TALD, an online platform for professional design support. These sessions are best for addressing targeted design topics, such as aesthetic direction, layouts, or finishes. Virtual sessions are available in 45-, 75-, and 120-minute formats and must be booked directly through TALD.

At Studio MAK, our design lens is grounded in real estate, finance, and construction experience. With this business-minded perspective, we provide development services for large-scale residential and commercial projects. Our development services are highly customizable and tailored to each project, and may include either full-service design or design advisory support. Each project is informed by investment strategy and execution logistics.
