At Studio MAK Interior Design in Chicago, we recently completed a project for a pre-teen boy who is a baseball player and a Cubs fan. The challenge was to design a small room that maximizes space while highlighting his love for baseball, but still keeping the space mature enough for him to grow into. We achieved this by using a Pottery Barn Sleep & Study® Low Loft Bed in Brushed Charcoal and incorporating elements such as pinstripe wallpaper, a fun colorful Chicago mural as the main focal point, custom roman shade on the window with a fun blue print, and all shades of blue throughout the room. To add a mature touch, we painted all the trim and doors in a deep navy blue, and used denim bedding. We are proud to present this completed project to you!
